• If required by law, regulation, or court order
• To protect our rights or property, or to prevent fraud
• In connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not rent or sell customer lists. However, advertising partners collect information through the cookies and pixels on our website. Some state privacy laws treat this as "selling" or "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 13.

We never share your mobile phone number, text messaging opt-in, or consent status with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes (see Section 7).

5. Cookies, Pixels & Advertising

Our website uses cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies for three purposes:

• Site operation: to keep your cart, keep you signed in, and complete checkout
• Analytics: to understand how visitors use our site, such as pages viewed and products added to cart
• Advertising: to measure how our ads perform and to show you ads for our products on other websites and apps

The advertising and analytics partners we use include Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), Reddit, X/Twitter, Yelp, TikTok, and OpenAI (ChatGPT ads). These partners may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser information, pages you view, products you add to your cart, and purchases you make. They may combine it with other information they hold about you, under their own privacy policies.

We also use cart activity to send reminders about items left in your cart, by email if you are subscribed and by text message if you have opted in.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly. To opt out of targeted advertising, see Section 13.

6. Uranus Pokes Rewards Program

Enrollment. When you place an order and provide your email address at checkout, you are automatically enrolled in Uranus Pokes so you can earn points on your purchase. You can also join from our Rewards page. Rewards membership does not sign you up for marketing emails or text messages; those require separate opt-in. 

What we collect. To run the program we collect your email address, name, points balance and history, the orders that earn points, rewards you redeem, your birthday if you provide it, and referrals you send or receive.

Who runs it. The program is operated on our behalf by a third-party loyalty platform. That provider processes your information only to run the program for us. If we change providers, your membership and points balance move with the program.

Leaving the program. You can ask us to close your rewards membership at any time by contacting us (Section 15). 

7. Text Messaging (SMS, MMS, and RCS)

If you opt in to our mobile messaging program, we will send you marketing messages (such as promotions, new product announcements, and cart reminders) and informational messages (such as order confirmations and shipping updates) by SMS, MMS, or RCS at the mobile number you provide. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you can get help by replying HELP. Full program terms are available in our Terms of Service.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, text messaging opt-in, or consent status with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes. The vendors that operate our messaging platform and deliver our messages (such as our text messaging platform provider and wireless carriers) process this information only on our behalf and only to deliver the messaging service; they are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.

8. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. Payments are processed by PCI-compliant payment processors, and we do not store full card numbers on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

Because we do business across state lines (and possibly internationally), your personal information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in jurisdictions other than your own. By using our website, you agree to such transfers and understand that data protection laws may differ in other countries.

11. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may include links to third-party sites, plug-ins, or services. These have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for how these external sites use or protect your information.

• Marketing emails: click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email
• Text messages: reply STOP to any message
• Rewards program: ask us to close your membership (Section 6)
• Targeted advertising: email us at the address in Section 15 with the subject "Opt out of targeted ads." You can also adjust ad settings directly with Meta, Google, and TikTok, or use the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info. 
• Additional rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Confirm whether we process your personal information and access a copy of it
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Delete your personal information
• Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and profiling
• Appeal our decision on your request

To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 15. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to the appeal within the time the law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Some deletion requests may be limited by our legal obligations, for example keeping records of completed orders.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will also notify you by email or with a notice on our website. Please review this policy periodically to stay informed.
